American Ifa has peeled away the artificial barriers of race, gender, sexual orientation, nationality and color, all of which were the twisted representations of a particular cultures bias and prejudice, and were woven into the philosophy by those who found them convenient and controlling.

American Ifa has restored the ancient Truths of brilliant Yoruba wise men and women to their original Eternal Living Energy, and discarded the stories which represented contextual truth and observations of certain times and cultural settings of the past. In so doing we teach not the word or frozen truths that Western religion came to depend upon, and ultimately become impotent from, but rather eternal energies that express today’s truth in today’s world.

American Ifa is the result of more than a quarter of a century of examination and study relating to how to apply the basic Truths, Wisdom and Understanding of the ancient Yoruba wise men and women in a methodology that would discard the Christian/Muslim influences that harmed it.

That viewed our world as part of a malevolent universe in which only the paternalistic guidance of a small group of priests could save us.

That this Creative Force supplied us with the roadmap to successfully achieve our Destiny through the process of Divination, and the appropriate use of the other energies that were Natural part of Creation we call Orisa, and Ancestors.
