Dafá (Ifá divination) has revealed Òfún'Rosù (also known as Òfún Ìrosùn) with Iré—on-path, good fortune—for health.

This Odù carries a gentle sense of nostalgia, which can surface when we feel disconnected from our life's purpose or start reflecting on missed opportunities with regret. Ìrosùn, linked to the energies of our Ancestors, reminds us that when such feelings arise, it is a sign to reconnect through ancestral veneration. Regular offerings, prayers, and remembrance keep their guidance active in our lives, strengthening our resilience and helping us restore our sense of direction.

Òfún teaches that "Ifá is sweeter than honey," reminding us that no matter what destiny (Ìpín) our soul has chosen, fulfillment and joy are attainable—but only if we consciously choose happiness and seek meaning in each experience. Gratitude, self-acceptance, and the willingness to learn from the past are the keys to emotional and physical healing.

The reading further indicates that your Orí (inner consciousness) is doing a good job of keeping you aligned with your destiny. This was confirmed by Ìdí Ìrẹtẹ̀, an Odù that shows we are poised for progress, yet reminds us that growth still requires effort and persistence.

  • Ìdí, associated with birthing, places pressure on us to bring forth creative ideas and projects—to give tangible form to what we have long envisioned.

  • Ìrẹtẹ̀, appearing on the left leg (the response side), means "conquering good fortune." The word "Ìrè" (meaning good fortune) within its name suggests that prosperity follows action, strategy, and perseverance.

Among all aspects of life, health benefits most from being in the right frame of mind. This is confirmed by Ọ̀sá’Gbè (also known as Ọ̀sá Ogbè), which encourages us to cherish life's simple joys—to make every moment count. True well-being isn't about material wealth but about appreciating what truly enriches the spirit: our loved ones, our pets, our community, and above all, the person we've become through life's challenges and triumphs.

Finally, Iré (on-path good fortune) was reaffirmed by Ìdí Ògúndá, which teaches that hard work alone is not enough; we also need the spark of wisdom—the ability to see how our daily efforts contribute to the greater arc of our destiny. When we work with awareness, gratitude, and purpose, our labor becomes not a burden but a blessing.

In essence, Òfún'Rosù calls us to nurture our health through gratitude, creativity, and ancestral connection. By keeping our hearts open, our minds clear, and our spirits aligned, we not only strengthen our bodies but also renew our sense of joy and purpose in life's journey.

Please make the following Ebó (sacrifice/offering) to Orí.

  • Shea butter to calm and purify your Orí, as revealed by Ogbè’dí (also known as Ogbè Ìdí).

General Reminder: Èṣù is the divine messenger who takes your prayers and offerings to their destination. So, when making any Ebó (offerings), always offer a taste to Èṣù first, or something he would like.

Until next time, blessings to you all!
